The Service Advisor at Champion Hargreaves in Royal Oak is a full-time, commission only position in the auto industry. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, assisting them with their vehicle service needs, and ensuring that their experience at Champion Hargreaves Chevrolet is positive and satisfactory. The Service Advisor will report to the Service Manager.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is commission-based, with a potential yearly earnings of $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 or more based on sales. This is a full-time position and the commission rates will be discussed during the hiring process. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their vehicle service needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate with customers to understand their concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
- Assist customers with scheduling appointments and provide estimated time for services
- Educate customers on recommended maintenance and repairs for their vehicle
- Provide price quotes and explain services in a clear and transparent manner
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends and regulations
- Utilize computer software to document customer transactions and process payments
- Follow up with customers after their service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Collaborate with technicians and service team to ensure timely and quality completion of services
- Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the auto industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug screening
