We are looking for a reliable caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to a stroke survivor in their home, including providing personal care, helping with daily activities, and providing companionship. The ideal candidate will have experience working with senior individuals as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures. A commitment to providing care full time is essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Meal preparation, and feeding.
- Assistance with bathing and personal care including incontinence care.
- Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, when incidental to assistance with activities of daily living.
- Assistance managing the individual's home and handling personal affairs.
- Assistance with self-administration of medications
- Homemaker services such as cleaning, mail, and laundry.
- Errands completed outside of the presence of the individual such as picking up prescriptions and groceries.
- Transportation to and from doctor appointments and therapies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
