Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
The Rotation Program is a 20 month program designed to provide a variety of general business assignments, resulting in broad, hands-on exposure to Champions Energy Services support areas and building capabilities across product, service and operational areas. Incumbents provide general support by rotating through four Champion Energy departments at five month intervals. After successful completion of the program, employee will be assessed and may be placed in an appropriate business unit. Participants work closely with staff members and management to support various business needs including special projects/programs/assignments and daily operations
Job Responsibilities
- Developing use and/or application of general business principles, theories and concepts.
- Developing basic familiarity with knowledge area, staff, technologies, services, and practices.
- Residential and Mass Market Sales o Assist with market based campaign analytics
- Conduct competitive analysis and market segmentation research
- Optimize segment profitability utilizing modern analytical techniques to analyze sales data, trends and strategies
- Efficiently retrieve, aggregate and display insightful and actionable information from relevant data sources and systems
- Participate in the design and execution of multi-channel marketing plans (mass media, digital display, SEM, retargeting, email marketing, etc.)
- Design and build marketing automation to support execution of marketing campaigns
- Provide sales support for the Mass Markets sales channel
- Pricing
- Develop and/or update prospect to cash swim lane flow chart with major activity by group and detailed documentation by major function; analyze processes and implement effectiveness and efficiency improvements
- Price retail power/gas products for Commercial customers
- Customer Operations
- Develop and/or update swim lane flow chart with major activity by group and detailed documentation by major function; analyze processes and implement effectiveness and efficiency improvements
- Support the Special Billing function (complex Commercial and Industrial products)
- Reporting duties around Customer Operations functions
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the User Acceptance Testing, Commissions, Collections, and Accounting function

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in area such as Business, Liberal Arts, or other applicable areas. May be currently enrolled in a Master’s or MBA program.
- A minimum of a 3.0 GPA is required.
- Previous experience working in team environment using general skill set to provide recommendations around business challenges.
- Basic to Intermediate skills in business applications (MS Office).
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Entry-level; typically less than 3 years’ experience.
