The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production operations, with experience in setting up, starting, testing, and adjusting complex manufacturing equipment.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Setting up and starting equipment for quality and productivity.
- Tuning equipment as necessary during production and performing basic preventative maintenance.
- Assisting lesser-skilled production associates and troubleshooting production issues.
- Monitoring and adjusting production processes or equipment for quality and productivity in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Providing information and/or work direction to new or lesser-skilled production associates.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for effective manufacture and distribution of materials.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have working knowledge of GMPs, OSHA, USDA, BRC, and FDA regulations and safety practices.
