What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Technician position at Champion Hoist & Equipment Company?
Entry level positions available in Champion Hoist & Equipment’s Metal Fabrication Department. Pay and benefits are competitive, and if you already have experience, your pay could be higher! We are looking for employees to learn and grow in the areas listed below.
· Cutting and Bending Metal, pulling parts from Plasma and Laser table.
· Assisting with operation of press breaks, plasma tables, and metal saws
· You will learn how to read drawings and set up/adjustment of metal fabrication equipment
· Assist higher-level operators in their work as directed / required
· Operate overhead cranes & other equipment as directed / required
· Ability to read and use measuring equipment such as but not limited to calipers, tape measures, etc.
· Hand tools will be utilized such as hammers, grinders, and drill presses, etc.
Ideal candidate must be on time, willing to learn, and mechanically inclined. Hourly pay rate, and eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment. Your future and financial destiny is up to you! Come grow with the Godwin Family!
