SUMMARY
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager of the Lake City, FL facilitythe primary focus of the Purchasing Report Analyst is tocompile information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material by performing the following duties.
RESPONIBILITIES
Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase
Processes Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by assisting with their preparation, sending them to suppliers and following up with suppliers for their timely response.
Gathers commodity market prices for reporting
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company
Work with suppliers on invoice and payment
Meet with vendors to review new products and review already placed
Maintain price changes by working with accounting to keep addendums
Confirm the packing list matches the PO via 3-point match and is signed by the authorized physical receiver
Confirm pricing is correct
Research and give purchasing manager new pricing if needed (they will not be able to enter updated pricing)
Submit pricing changes to Corp
Receive documents for error corrections (Purchasing Manager or assistant will make correction)
They will then repost the receipt and submit back through the workflow
Excess shipments do not need corrections
Receive in raw materials only to input into system
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
S. Diploma orGED
2-4 years of related experience
Manufactured housing industry experiencedesired
Purchasing or Materials experiencedesired
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel,Word)
Must have strong analytical skills and be capable of interpreting data andinformation
Must be able to exercise independent judgment or adopt or modify methods and standards to meet assigned duties / objectives
Must have strong interpersonalskills
Must be able to prioritize tasks and follow through with requests forassistance
Must have strong attention todetail
Must live the Champion OperatingPrinciples
