Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for a Purchasing Agent to be responsible for cost-effective procurement for their Gainesville, FL location. Let's get to work.

Temporary

Gainesville, FL

Schedule : FT, M-F 8am - 4 : 30pm

Salary : $24 / hr DOE

Responsibilities :

Coordinate procurement of supplies, equipment and services
Provide guidance and assistance for expenditures
Investigate cost saving opportunities
Solicit quotes and bids
Assure compliance with existing contracts
Compile and maintain reports
Additional duties as needed

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Skills :

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail highly preferred

Education : Associate

Experience : 4-7 years

Qualifications :

Associate's degree

At least 4 years in a procurement role

Prior purchasing experience

Excellent research, writing, and project management skills

Proficiency in using Excel, databases, financial management and project management software

Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
