$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Auburn, Kentucky. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of finished products within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive packaged product/finished goods from the Production department, verifying quality assurance standards.
- Stock product in an efficient, orderly manner to optimize storage capacity.
- Operate fork trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks from and to vendors/distributors.
- Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
- Use hand-held scanners to accurately enter information into the Warehouse Management System.
- Ensure accurate pallet license plates display product information.
- Develop awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards.
- Support community events representing Champion Petfoods.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years forklift experience and/or equivalent warehouse experience.
Working Conditions:
This role operates Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, inside a clean, modern, state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility with brand new equipment.
