Job Purpose
As the Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute and manage various projects including cooling tower refurbishment, condenser cleaning, heat exchangers, sewage pump replacement, etc.
- Build risk registers, cost breakdowns, estimates and project plans with the support of the project team.
- Be the single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned projects with the client.
- Help manage resource availability and allocation.
- Delivering projects on time within budget and scope.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications
- Civil/Mechanical background preferred. Acceptable experience within nuclear civil/mechanical projects in preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of project experience in an operating Nuclear plant in the United States
- Understanding of Asset Suite is a plus
- Experience with replacement of heat exchangers and piping replacement is desirable.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to get badged at Palisades
