Responsibilities include :
Stay up-to-date on client priorities to ensure your team is aligned with client marketing / PR initiatives and they are delighted with our servicesContribute to client status reports and weekly callsCollaborate and communicate closely with your supervisor and other team membersDevelop local marketing plans to create buzz for new location openings, struggling locations or market introductionsDemonstrate excellent communication, management and customer service skills at all timesWrite, edit and / or contribute to media alerts, talking points and other client-facing materialsManage the press release processDraft compelling pitch requests to arm the PR team to generate coverage;As needed, conduct follow-up calls with local media to generate additional media coveragePitch and secure product drops and / or round-ups across the country;Submit calendar and event listingsIdentifying and developing relationships with influencersCalculate media values including estimated audience and impressionsMonitor media coverage and send reporting to clients; and,Contribute to creative and “big splash” ideation with Champion’s team on behalf of all of the agency’s clientsQualifications
Education : A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Experience : 1-3 years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of managing client accounts and leading successful campaigns.Skills :Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.Expertise in media relations and outreach strategies.High-level organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Traits : Energetic, self-motivated, creative, organized, and adaptable.Client-Facing : Comfortable and confident in presentations and communication with C-level executives.Why Champion?
