Manufacturing Operations Manager

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Operations Manager location in NW Houston.

What You Will Do :

Manage the manufacturing & operations teams including assembly, shipping, supply chain and field support, while ensuring production goals are met.

Oversee the inventory and purchasing objectives including, vendor management, forecasting, material planning and replenishment to ensure to ensure production objectives are achieved.

Execute production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Monitor quality and ensure that production processes adhere to established standards and procedures.

Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands and maintain efficient production flow.

Support the field operations and ensure support services to customers are met.

Hire, train and coach team members, including performance management and accountability planning.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.

Minimum Qualifications :

Four-year college or university degree in Business or related field or equivalent

Valid driver's license in state of residence required

8 years of relevant experience; preferred manufacturing or operations background

4 years leading and motivating teams

Experience using Oracle or similar ERP system.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level

Strong math and analytical skills

Excellent supplier and vendor management skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
