About The Role
As the Operations Manager, you will lead and coordinate manufacturing and operational activities, ensuring that targets are achievable, resources are effectively utilized, and business goals are consistently met. Your role will involve overseeing process improvement initiatives, supply chain coordination, inventory management, quality assurance, and production scheduling.
To be successful in this role, you should bring extensive experience in manufacturing operations, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to motivate teams and manage resources efficiently. Financial acumen and the ability to assess risks accurately will also be crucial to your success.
Responsibilities
- Forecasting and Planning:
- Conduct market analyses and demand forecasting.
- Plan and allocate resources to meet operational demands.
- Process Design and Capacity Planning:
- Analyze and enhance production processes.
- Plan equipment maintenance and capacity requirements.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Manage supplier relationships, procurement processes, and logistics.
- Inventory Management:
- Implement and oversee inventory control systems.
- Regularly conduct stock audits and adjust inventory levels.
- Quality Management:
- Develop and maintain rigorous quality standards and controls.
- Train and mentor staff on quality procedures and standards.
- Scheduling:
- Create and manage effective production schedules.
- Monitor operational progress and adjust as necessary.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular updates on operational and financial performance.
- Collaborate with sales teams on contract negotiations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Required. Master's degree Preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive manufacturing and project management experience.
- Strong financial and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead operational teams.
Salary : $45,000 - $59,000
