What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Champlain Valley Equipment?
We are a busy agricultural, recreational and light construction equipment dealership seeking a reliable and highly motivated shipping and receiving clerk for our St. Albans, Vermont store.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- accepting and documenting packages and deliveries made to the store
- checking in and storing items in appropriate storage areas
- preparing items for shipping
- identifying and resolving shortages and discrepancies
- contacting customers via phone/text/email to let them know their parts are ready for pickup
- maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Must haves include:
- ability to think independently
- good communication skills
- excellent customer service skills
- proficiency with computers
- ability to lift 40 pounds
