Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. A strong background in using computer systems and familiarity with phone systems is essential for success in this position. The Hours are Friday afternoon from 2:30 until 6 and Saturday from 8 to 12 noon
Duties
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
- Answer and direct phone calls using multi-line phone systems
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments and patient inquiries
- Maintain organized records and documentation to support office operations
- Collect payments for treatment
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors in a professional manner
Experience
- Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical or dental office environments is a plus
- Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Competence in using computer software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
