Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in customer service positions, or office/receptionist positions highly encouraged to apply.
This position requires flexibility to cover the office manager when out of town, sick, or unable to go in to the office for any reason.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and answering phone calls in a professional manner.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for staff members.
- Perform filing duties, ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, proofreading documents, and preparing reports to be filed.
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive experience for clients.
- Support team members with various tasks as required.
- Keeping the office and facility cleaned and organized, free of trash.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an office assistant, or any customer service experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail and cleanliness is desired.
- Customer service experience is highly desirable.
