We take pride in our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for an Accountant to join our growing finance department.

Position Overview: As an Accountant, you will play an essential role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial functions that drive our continued success in the transportation manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by managing the general ledger and processing transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for management.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes during high-volume periods.
• Assist in the preparation of annual audit packages and work with external auditors as needed.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide general financial analysis and assist with special accounting projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or transportation-related industries.
• Familiarity with tax filings and regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.
