Location Requirement: Nevada candidates only. Las Vegas/Carson City offices. SOW indicates preferable onsite but will be required.
The IT Programmer will be responsible for upgrading (or creatng new) Oracle database and data warehouse views, stored procedures, Unix Shell scripts, batch jobs, and other items from multple legacy, on-premises Oracle databases (12c and 19c) to our new, cloud-based ERP database soluton (Oracle 19c).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new PL/SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support data integration between the legacy data warehouse and the new ERP.
- Modify and optimize existing PL/SQL code to improve performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data transfers.
- Document all developed code, scripts, and procedures thoroughly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and interface functionality.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle s PL/SQL is essential.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with UNIX Shell scriptng and Scheduler jobs (Cosmos or Automate).
- Experience with SQL*Loader and mod_plsql package.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in ERP data integration projects is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check.
