Head of VIP and Influencer Relations

CHANEL is looking for our next Head of VIP and Influencer Relations to join our VIP Relations Department in New York. You will play a leading role in creation, development, and execution of the U.S. VIP Relations, including Celebrity and Influencer, vision and strategy to increase CHANEL image awareness and equity amongst the Celebrity and Influencer community and Entertainment and key industry leaders. Our ideal candidate will have 10- 15 years of experience and a passion for VIP relations management including press experience. What impact you can create at CHANEL: Drive celebrity / VIP / Influencer relationships, including communication, negotiation, styling, events, product management, and placements Support 3 Division business priorities and leverage talent for Negotiated Press, Events and Corporate Brand Partnerships Oversee global monitoring/KPI process, and best practice resource center Drive organic placements with talent for the brand Experience within Fashion and/or Entertainment Industry You are energized by… Develop and nurture new and existing relationships with Celebrities, VIPs, Influencers, Stylists, Publicists, Agents, Assistants, Film Studios, Networks etc., developing strong brand partnerships and targeted results (such as placements, media coverage, brand representation, photo opportunities, etc.) Negotiate and secure local brand ambassador contracts Ensure company visibility at key industry events Manage Celebrity & Influencer Budget People leadership, coaching and development Position Logistics: Bachelor’s Degree Required 10 years of VIP relations management and press experience Established and well-connected to Celebrity & Entertainment Community, Industry Leaders (Fashion, Entertainment) and Influencer Community Management Skills Experience representing luxury brands Excellent organizational skills Able to work and achieve results in a fast-paced matrix environment Detail oriented with proven follow through skills Effective communicator Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred or equivalent experience Location requirement, NY Home Office: This position is NY based and will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote. Position will require weekend hours for events and fittings Travel requirements, domestic and international, for all events involving Celebrity or Influencer Talent and Fashion Shows (40% travel time required) Potential to work weekends and extended weeklong travel
