As a Corporate Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in the administration of our legal functions. Your expertise will help ensure our company remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations while supporting our legal team in various initiatives.
- Prepare, review, and revise corporate documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and industry-specific regulations.
- Support corporate, contracting, intellectual property, privacy, and compliance initiatives.
- Optimize legal operations and manage the contracts database.
- Assist with entity formation, annual filings, and routine maintenance.
- Conduct legal research and support legal proceedings and decision-making.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and manage litigation processes.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team.
Preferred Areas of Knowledge
- Real estate law, litigation, transactional work, document management, asset management, drafting, and lease management.
- Corporate law, including entity formation, annual filings, and maintenance.
- Contract law, including preparation, review, and management of contracts and agreements.
- Intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Data privacy regulations and compliance.
- Legal operations best practices and process optimization.
- Experience: 3-5 years as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of legal terminology, excellent research and analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency in legal research tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred. Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is a plus.
