Trustpoint.One is assisting an Am-100 law firm in seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal to join their offices in either Baltimore or Towson on a direct-hire opportunity. This role is hybrid and will require 3 days in the office.
The professional will work closely with attorneys and clients on complex estate and trust administration matters in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Responsibilities of the Trust & Estates Paralegal :
- Draft, edit, and review probate and estate administration documents including petitions for probate, inventories, accountings, and tax returns
- Trust administration duties including accountings and filing fiduciary income tax returns
- Interact with a wide variety of clients in person, on the phone, via email, and video conferencing
- Gather information regarding the assets and debts of an estate and / or trust
- Assemble and organize financial records for estate tax returns and audits
- Prepare, edit, and review estate tax returns
- Prepare accountings and settlement papers for both informal and formal settlement of estates and trusts
