Job Overview
As a Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area in a restaurant or food establishment. You will lead a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient front-of-house functions.
Duties
- Manage and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Train and develop staff on customer service standards and operational procedures
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and quality service
- Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly
- Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in the culinary or food industry
- Previous Serving/Bartending experience 2 years
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of banquet operations and event management
- Proficiency in food safety practices and food preparation techniques
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
