Behavior Technician ** Home and Center support needed ** Change with ABA is seeking dedicated, energetic, and passionate Behavior Technicians to join our diverse team! As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals and their families in home, center, and community settings and teach them skills using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. What will a Behavior Technician Do?
- Provide behavioral therapy using evidence-based interventions with individuals in-home, center, school, and or community as assigned & needed
- Provide parent training during the session
- Record accurate data following the data collection method
- Under the direction of the supervisor, implement a behavior intervention plan with accuracy and fidelity.
- Teach social skills, communication skills, self-help skills, etc. following the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Attend training and meetings when scheduled
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all work-related environments.
- Maintain consistent schedule
- Perform other job duties as assigned
- Center based support only: diapering and toileting support
- Implement Social Skills Program with BCBA Supervision at the Center(s)
Requirements for Behavior Technician Position:
- High School Completion (required)
- RBT and BCAT certification preferred
- AA or Bachelor's degree or enrolled in college or community college with emphasis in psychology, child development, or related field (preferred)
- Previous 2-year experience working with children, ABA, or Autism related field
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
- Reliable transportation, valid driver license & auto insurance
- Availability and flexibility to drive within 30 mile radius
- Reliable and consistent schedule
- Must know how to play and have fun with learners from various ages
- Maintain Consistent Attendance and professional conduct
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds.
- Must pass a TB test
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to drive within 30 mile radius for caseload
