Summary
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial data and financial services of ChangePoint including but not limited to maintenance of all computerized and manual financial records and preparation of financial analyses and reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assign general ledger account coding
- Execute automated accounts payable program
- Review invoices/statements for accuracy
- Prepare management and financial reports
- Prepare monthly budget recaps
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports
- Assist payroll department in preparation of monthly reports used in cost allocation
- Assist in annual budget preparation as assigned
- Assist in maintaining fixed asset inventory schedule as assigned
- Assist in bank reconciliation
- Assist in maintaining a balanced general ledger
- Assist in Annual Financial Audit Preparation
- Performs accounts receivable applications for cash received in deposits for all sites. Assigns revenue coding for all deposits and expense coding for all debits to bank accounts
- Assist in billing and other automated accounting programs
- Cross train and serve as backup for payroll
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and general office functions
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Current Arizona Driver’s License
- Comply with a Drug Free workplace
- Fingerprint Clearance
Skills/Abilities
Required:
- Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize own work
- Able to effectively employ analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to type accurately; perform numeric calculations; computer skills
- Phone courtesy and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Effective time management skills|
- Able to travel occasionally
- If under 21 employees will be required to sign a no-drive agreement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
