Job Title: Pantry                                                       Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Executive Chef                                     FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary 

The pantry position is responsible for assisting in the preparation of salads and desserts. 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Proficient at using a variety of kitchen utensils such as chopping knives and vegetable grinders
• Assist in the preparation of salads, cold menu items and desserts
• Ensure proper food storage
• Perform kitchen maintenance tasks such as washing dishes and emptying trash
• Ensure food safety standards by performing temperature of food testing at specific intervals
• Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• General knowledge of food handling and safety

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior food handling experience preferred
