DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Design and develop shell and tube heat exchangers, bundles, and components, utilizing your expertise in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and mechanical design.
Ø Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and professionals to create innovative and efficient heat exchangers that meet the needs of our customers and comply with customer requirements and specifications.
Ø Utilize your knowledge of industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all heat exchanger designs
Ø Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to drive successful project completion
Ø Utilize CAD, and thermal rating software (HTRI) to create detailed designs and sizing models of heat exchanger systems to fit customer requirements.
Ø Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all design and development processes
Ø Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in heat exchanger technology to continuously improve the company's products
Ø Ensure that all designs meet safety and quality standards, and make necessary adjustments as needed
Ø Take ownership of projects and ensure timely completion within budget constraints
Ø Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative solutions to technical problems
Ø Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks related to heat exchanger design and development.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v P.E. in Mechanical Engineering
v 10 years of relevant experience in the design of shell and tube heat exchangers that comply with TEMA standards, ASME Section 8 Div. 1 & Div.2 as well as API standards and customer specifications.
