Medical Assistant (Diabetes)

Pay: $23.20-$27.40

Benefit Highlights:

• Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.
• 17 days PTO per year, 11 Paid Holidays, 8 Sick Days (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)

Duties:

• Experience in performing administrative duties, including greeting and checking in patients
• Proficiency in maintaining and updating electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment while providing excellent patient care
• Experience in performing finger-stick HbA1c testing, including proper specimen collection, handling and processing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clinic staff during huddle meetings

Experience and Skills:

Minimum qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• Current CPR/BLS Certificate
• Obtain eyePACS Retinopathy Photographer Certification within 3 months of hire through Chapa-De assistance
• Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment
