Job Description:
As a Journeyman Roofer at Chaparosa Roofing, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of roofing projects. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, working on both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, flat roofs, hot-mop, TPO, and tiles.
- Work as a team-lead or foreman to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct inspections to assess roofing needs and provide accurate estimates.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve roofing issues efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Roofer certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial roofing projects.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
