Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and entertainment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
- Collaborate with vendors, including restaurants and banquet facilities, to secure contracts and services.
- Develop event marketing strategies to promote business opportunities
- Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events.
- Assist in fundraising efforts by organizing charity events and community outreach programs.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
- Dedicated personality with an interest in a start up from the beginning
- Familiarity with wedding and small event market trends is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Experience in fundraising and small-medium sized event planning is desirable.
- Proficient in event marketing techniques to attract attendees and promote events.
- A background in customer service will enhance your ability to meet client expectations.
