Chaplin & Gonet, PC is a well-established Law Firm specializing in Insurance Subrogation and Contract Collections throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our Richmond, Virginia headquarters is seeking a Full Time Legal Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare multiple Court Dockets for Attorney court appearances
· Communicate directly with multiple General District Courts in Virginia
· Maintain calendar of court continuances, dismissals, Guardian ad litem (GAL) and additional ongoing court appointments
· Perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, scanning and faxing
· Manage updates in collections software (JST software knowledge helpful)
· Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act
Qualifications:
· Ability to Multitask, adjust to situations quickly, set priorities, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Consistently demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail with proficient organizational and follow-up skills
· Must have the ability to speak clearly, courteously, and professionally on the telephone
· Ability to Independently work on secondary assignments as assigned
· Technology forward, with an emphasis on Office 365, Word, Excel, and Adobe
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
