Core Responsibilities :
Test-drive vehicles and test vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, replenishing vehicle fluids, replacing batteries, filters, wiper blades, etc.
Rotate, mount and balance tires according to vehicle specifications and ensure proper inflation
Complete multi-point inspections, taking detailed notes of vehicle condition and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor to communicate to the customer
Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership processes
Ensure repairs covered under warranty are completed to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean, safe workstation
Desired Qualifications and Experience :
Training from an automotive technology program or hands-on experience working at dealership or independent shop
Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges and tire rotations
ASE and / or factory certifications preferred
Desire to learn and strengthen mechanical proficiencies
Detail-oriented, thorough and methodical
Basic computer skills
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
