Core Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, replenishing vehicle fluids, replacing batteries, filters, wiper blades, etc.
- Rotate, mount and balance tires according to vehicle specifications and ensure proper inflation
- Complete multi-point inspections, taking detailed notes of vehicle condition and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor to communicate to the customer
- Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership processes
- Ensure repairs covered under warranty are completed to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe workstation
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Training from an automotive technology program or hands-on experience working at dealership or independent shop
- Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges and tire rotations
- Desire to learn and strengthen mechanical proficiencies
- Detail-oriented, thorough and methodical
- Basic computer skills
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
