Core Responsibilities

• Perform thorough diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to GM or Isuzu truck systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Complete comprehensive routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability of fleet vehicles, documenting findings and recommended maintenance or repairs.
• Inform the Service Consultant of all recommended maintenance or additional repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete additional services.
• Document inspection findings, recommended services and all work performed.
• Execute work specified on the repair order to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Complete warranty repair work in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
  
  

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working on GM or Isuzu fleet trucks including inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance required.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturer guidelines.
• GM, Isuzu, and/or ASE certifications are highly favorable.
• Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication and general computer skills.
• Must have your own tools and tool box.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  
  

Hours And Work Environment

Our Commercial Service Center is open Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. Our team enjoys a positive, team-oriented workplace with a consistent workflow and frequent collaboration between Technicians, Service Consultants and the Parts Department.
