We are looking for an experienced Collision Estimator to help our team deliver the best possible collision repair experience to our clients, serving as a liaison between customers, insurance companies, and other members of the body shop. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the vehicle repair process and working with insurance companies, empathetic, and great at building rapport with customers and insurance adjusters. Successful candidates thrive in fast-paced, production driven environment. The Estimator reports to the Collision Center Manager.

Greet customers, check in vehicles and educate the customer on the repair processEvaluate damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage and go over the damages with techniciansUse estimating software to document damages and recommend repairs or replacement of damaged vehicle componentsWork closely with technicians to determine feasibility of repair vs. replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doorsWrite complete and accurate estimates, invoice repairs, and order partsNegotiate repair costs with insurance companies and prepare insurance forms detailing cost estimates for all required repairsFinalize repair tickets and follow up with insurance companies for final paymentKeep customers informed throughout the repair process, providing regular updates and estimated completion timesDesired Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of collision estimating experience required; experience with Direct Repair Programs (DRPs) preferredProficiency with Mitchell & CCC1 estimating software requiredKnowledgeable about insurance company guidelinesKnowledge of BMW and other European brands is a plusStrong customer service background with the ability to think from the customer’s perspective and show empathy for their situationDemonstrates initiative, strong ability to multitask effectively, and motivation to achieve production goalsCollaborative and team-oriented, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skillsBilingual is a plus!Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningHours and Work Environment
The Collision Estimator works in an office environment and in the climate-controlled indoor shop, and requires the ability to maneuver around or under vehicles to assess damages. Our hours are Monday – Friday 7 : 30am to 5 : 30pm and Saturdays 9 : 00am – 12 : 00pm. You will be required to work Monday – Friday and rotating Saturdays.
