What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Charcoal House, LLC.?
Overview:
Charcoal House is an upscale Mediterranean restaurant, bar, and hookah lounge. We have fine entertainment on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday nights such as singers and DJs, so servers, hosts, and bartenders must be able to flourish in a loud, fast-paced, night-life environment. We are looking for efficient hosts and bartenders to help provide our customers an excellent experience.
Responsibilities:
-Welcoming and sitting guests comfortably in the dining section
-Taking customers’ food and drink orders
-Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for quick and correct delivery of orders
-Understanding the entire menu to provide recommendations if needed, suggest substitutions, etc.
-Assisting with the cleaning of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area tidy and pristine
-Setting tables accommodate larger groups and/or prepare the area for special events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 13 per week
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- Night shift
