We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Construction Fleet Dispatcher/Coordinator** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in equipment management, logistics, and business operations within the construction industry. This role involves managing the flow of owned and rented equipment, coordinating fleet movements, and ensuring seamless operations between teams.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project teams to prioritize equipment needs and allocate resources accordingly
- Coordinate and manage the release, transfer, and return of owned and rented equipment.
- Monitor equipment intake, utilization, and inventory; process check-ins and oversee scheduling of transfers and pickups.
- Ensure efficient fleet management by implementing plans to optimize equipment use, track underutilized assets, and reduce downtime.
- Provide operational support by completing dispatch tasks accurately and resolving issues proactively.
- Work within the equipment GPS software for tracking asset locations, tracking utilization uptime, and asset availability.
- Monitor and manage inventory of equipment at yard locations, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Plan and implement improvements to fleet tracking and scheduling mechanisms.
- Schedule and oversee fleet driver assignments to ensure effective mobilization of assets.
- Work closely with Operations Fleet Team to have assets moved to appropriate locations for breakdowns.
- Participate in annual rental rate reviews by analyzing trends, market data, and internal valuation metrics.
- Attend departmental meetings to stay updated on operational goals and business practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and relationships.
- Performs administrative functions including:
- Analyzing and comparing rental quotes and specifications
- Reviewing and approving rental and transportation invoices
- Researching equipment comps and valuations
- Assisting the Fleet Asset Manager with acquisitions and disposals
Education and Experience:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of related experience in equipment coordination, fleet dispatch, or construction logistics.
- Prior experience in rental, warehouse, or construction materials preferred.
- Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software. Strong excel abilities.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and construction equipment, project lifecycle management, and transportation logistics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Travel to job sites as needed, with the potential for overnight stays.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to meet government deployment requirements.
- Pre-employment: Must pass a drug screening.
Compensation: $68,000K - $80,000K
- Compensation bonus potential, 100% paid full benefits for you and your family, generous paid time off, and an employer funded retirement plan. You must successfully pass a background and drug test prior to the start date
