What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable position at Chariot Inc?
Since 2004, Chariot Plumbing Supply & Design has set the standard in delivering upscale, premium kitchen and bathroom products for residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking a dynamic Accounts Receivable employee to help elevate our Accounting Department. The Accounts Receivable position is responsible for the billing and customer care of all Chariot’s customers. They are to ensure that the customers are cared for and receive regular communication in regards to billings, collections, and outstanding balances in a kind and efficient manner.
Primary Responsibilities
● Balance customer accounts.
● Invoice all deliveries and process payments appropriately
● Email invoices and respond to customer inquiries
● Create customer deposits in SAP.
● Process refunds (within 48 hours).
● Prepare bank deposits.
● Collect from past-due customers.
● Prepare and send monthly statements.
● Process customer payments
● Setting customer terms and credit limits.
● Process credit applications.
● Balance the cash drawer.
● Assist sales staff in balancing sales orders
Requirements, Skills, & Experience
● 1-2 years of AR experience
● 1-2 years of Customer Service
● An energetic, self-motivated individual
● Problem/solution based mindset
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
● Excel experience preferred
● Proficient level in Google Suites (Google Sheets) and familiarity with SAP and Smartsheet is preferred
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
