Maintenance Technician (Lawn and Landscape)

The Maintenance Technician is an experienced maintenance team member working with minimal supervision. This position assists in directing the activities of a team and assisting Team Leader as needed. A strong candidate for this position will show initiative for advancement within the company.

• Operates and maintains a variety of mechanical equipment, including, but not limited to; mowers, blowers, weedeaters, chainsaws, trimmers, etc.
• Responsible for knowledge of all facility locations
• Knowledge of proper tie down, and loading procedures
• General knowledge of all maintenance techniques and practices
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
• Knowledge of all safety and PPE requirements
• Knowledge of hauling and backing trucks and trailers
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and safety equipment / regulations (refer to handbook)
• Helps organizes, supervises, and train team members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe
• Ensures that team members have all tools and materials needed to perform the job
• Provides positive and constructive feedback regarding the work and effort of team members
• Keeps team leader aware of all client interactions and change orders
• Works with minimal supervision and shows initiative to complete assigned tasks
• Any other duties assigned to employee by Team Leader or Manager
• Minimum 1 year experience in the Green Industry
