OUR SALES COUNSELOR POSITION
The Sales Counselor is supervised by the VP of Business Development and works closely with Administrators and department managers, directors, residents, families, referral sources, community and other sales team members as needed. This position has no direct reports.

 

The Sales Counselor has the authority, responsibility and accountability necessary to carry out assigned duties. The primary focus for our Sales Counselor is leading and executing the sales and marketing efforts, lead generation, and cultivation to achieve the key results for the assigned residence. The Sales Counselor is supervised by the Sales Manager and works closely with executive directors and department managers, directors, residents, families, referral sources, community and other sales team members as needed. This position has no direct reports.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage sales of Revitz House independent living.
  • Effectively communicate to prospective residents and their families CESLC’s continuum of care and value proposition.
  • Maintain knowledge of the following:
    • all CESLC services & products to provide accurate & timely information for prospective leads.
    • key admissions criteria/processes as related to decision points for prospective candidates.
    • Achieve positive results and occupancy targets through community tours, emails, calls outs and overall lead nurturing.
    • Fully utilize Enquire customer relations tool.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets for call in/outs, tours, presentations, conversions to tours, conversions to deposits, and conversions to move-ins.
  • Manage all incoming inquiries in alignment with CESLC inquiry, lead nurturing to close process.
  • Acquire all necessary documentation required for move in and share with necessary departments as required.
  • Prepare leases & other required paperwork and complete with the prospect prior to move-in.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources in the marketplace.
  • Maintain a collaborative working environment with management, staff, residents, families, visitors, volunteers, the public and other professionals.  Other sales and marketing team members are expected to work collaboratively in a mutually supportive environment with focus on Team Goals.
  • Develop in coordination with your Executive Director and Director of Sales a Quarterly Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Execute external sales and marketing activities as determined by the sales and marketing plan.
  • Provide support to the Sales Manager in managing events for potential prospects and referral sources in coordination as determined by your sales and marketing plan.
  • Provide support to Sales Counselors from other CESLC Communities for vacation, sick time and as requested, in coordination with your Sales Manager.
  • Meet and achieve sales performance goals quarterly and annually.
  • Serve on, participate in and attend various committees of the organization as appointed.
  • Actively contribute in all meetings to assist in process improvement and improvement of customer services and experiences.
  • Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned.

SHIFTS & STATUS
This is a full time, Exempt/Salaried position

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related human service field or equivalent experience.
  • Three to four years sales experience promoting services and providing community outreach for a long-term care provider, senior housing entity or related health care organization.
  • Documented history of meeting sales and census goals.
  • Fluency in MS Office products: MS Word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
  • Exceptionally demonstrated written and oral communication skills in the English language.
  • Temperament suitable to working in what can be a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional recognition of ethical and legal requirements of confidentiality in handling of sensitive information and situations.
  • Dependable car for community outreach efforts.
  • General computer skills to include database management and internet search capabilities
  • The ability to deal tactfully with team member, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures relating to the marketing and sales of CESLC services.

VACCINATION POLICY

As a dedicated provider to Senior Living Care our facility requires all hired associates to provide proof of vaccination records, including two doses of MMR, two doses of Varicella, and a Negative TB screen before the start of employment. Another source of documentation that can be accepted is a Titer or Lab test that expresses proven immunity to the following diseases. Upon employment our Talent Acquisition team will provide additional details regarding CESLC vaccination policy.
