As the Business Development Manager at my client (a fintech/accounting tech startup), you will play a key role in building a sales and revenue powerhouse, driving growth, and contributing to our long-term success. You'll focus on generating high-quality opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and laying the foundation for a strong client base and sales team. Your impact will be felt across the organization!


Responsibilities & Impact

  • Generate quality sales opportunities through strategic prospecting and networking.
  • Create and execute comprehensive prospecting plans via research, outreach (calls, emails), and leveraging personal networks.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads to convert them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule meetings using tools like cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Write tailored, hyper-personalized outreach messages.
  • Utilize CRM and sales engagement tools to track and manage lead progression effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and product offerings.


Requirements

  • Experience in a fintech or accounting tech startup is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, business, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an early-stage startup.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native English proficiency.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
