The Role: Controls Engineer
Description:

We are seeking someone deeply interested in control systems engineering ranging from basic pneumatic and sensory measurement to complex automation projects. The role is in constant collaboration within the controls team as well as between software and mechanical engineering.
My client is an equipment manufacturer that engages in both bench-top inspection solutions as well as large-scale automated systems. The primary focus of the position is to ensure the measurement accuracy of the system, reliable operation through control systems design, and development of efficient user interactions with the equipment through HMIs and other graphical means. A secondary focus is on the development of sensory technologies and how they apply to package inspection.
The role is positioned on our R&D team, focused on the development of new applications and custom engineering to help support the food, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries with leading-edge engineering and a focus on critical packaging applications.
The employee will be responsible for designing, selecting, and implementing components and developing the logic for proprietary technologies. The position will be responsible for programming, documenting, training, and release testing of finalized technologies for the various industries we support.
Some travel, both domestic and international, is expected.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
