- Skilled in dealing with people of all types. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and the general public
- Skilled in coordinating/completing multiple tasks while entertaining frequent interruptions
- Ability to counsel and advise appropriately
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks and reach closure on projects
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely
- Computers skills: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and HRIS such as BambooHR
- Effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively present reports to management
- Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Knowledge and skill are normally acquired through post-secondary education at the Bachelor’s level in areas such as human resources management. CPPI is looking for:
- Three to five years in a progressively responsible human resource generalist position if no college degree or
- Three years in a professional or managerial human resources position with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional human resources certification (or demonstrated progress towards certification) is preferred but not required.
