Job Description:
The Surgical Tech will provide assistance to the operating room staff and the physician in delivering patient care under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the OR suite for surgical procedures on time.
- Practice aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Apply cleaning techniques in the operating room.
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
- Assist with applying dressings to incisions.
- Clean and restock assigned rooms.
- Participate in inservice training of new personnel.
- Take call as assigned.

Requirements:
• Formalized Training (Required): High School Diploma/GED AND Certificate-Surgtech
• Experience: 6 months of surg tech experience
Credentials:
• Basic Life Support (Required) within 30 days of hire
• Surgical Technician certification
