Matchday Security Attendant (Part-Time)

Job Overview

The Security Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment during Charleston Battery home matches. This role involves monitoring the crowd, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing assistance as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas for potential safety concerns or suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all guests and staff adhere to safety regulations and event policies.
• Assist with crowd control, guiding attendees to appropriate areas and managing lines.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, directing people to safety or providing assistance as needed.
• Help with event setup and breakdown in coordination with other staff members.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting attendees with general event-related inquiries.
• Report any security issues or incidents to event supervisors or security management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be available to work at least 60% of Charleston Battery home matches during the season. https://www.charlestonbattery.com/schedule/
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to stay alert and remain focused for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Prior security or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shift.
