We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for the green industry and a proven track record in sales, customer relationship management, and project oversight. This person will have a current position in the Commercial Landscape Maintenance industry directly dealing with clients and sales. This position requires 60% office work and 40% in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial landscape market.
- Build and maintain relationships with current clients, including property managers, business owners, and board members.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and bids for landscape maintenance, enhancement, irrigation, and chemical services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure top of the line customer service while maintaining quality on all properties.
Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial maintenance accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement customized landscape management plans based on client needs and site conditions.
- Direct Field Management and ensure that they are trained and able to perform their job duties.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess service quality, identify opportunities for enhancements, and address client concerns.
- Lead client meetings, manage contracts, and ensure timely renewals and upselling opportunities.
- Respond timely to all emails, phone calls and requests. Use Aspire software to track all sales and related items.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with the operations and production teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Participate in strategy meetings with the management team to align sales goals with business objectives.
- Mentor and support junior account managers and sales staff as needed.
Budgeting & Reporting:
- Develop and manage account budgets, track project expenses, and ensure profitability.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales activity, and client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth goals.
- Ensure all jobs meet hours, material costs among other metrics to ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape account management, sales, or business development in the commercial sector.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, chemical, and aquatics services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Aspire) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use software and computers on a day to day basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
