Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Associate for a full-time, on-site role in Charleston, SC. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and helping to create a pleasant shopping experience. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering advice on lighting and interior products. This role also involves maintaining store presentation, managing inventory, and processing sales transactions. The ability to build and maintain customer relationships is a key part of the job.
Qualifications
- Customer Service, Communication, and Interpersonal skills
- Sales, Retail, and Point of Sale (POS) System experience
- Product Knowledge, Inventory Management, and Store Presentation
- Ability to meet sales targets and goals
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Prior experience in lighting or interior design is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in sales or marketing is advantageous
