Clinical Adjunct Professor
Description: Charleston Southern University invites applications for an adjunct clinical instructor in the College of Nursing to provide clinical instruction/supervision for 8-9 students on medical surgical acute care, mental health/psychiatric nursing, or other specialty units. Clinical rotations are available on Tuesdays or Thursdays for the full term of the semester (15 weeks). Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in nursing is required. Must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in South Carolina. Ability to teach clinical and/or lab. Prior teaching experience in an ADN or BSN program preferred. 2 years of recent clinical experience as a registered nurse. Current certification in CPR.
