This is a highly visible, employee-facing role where you'll provide essential HR support, assist employees with inquiries, and help ensure compliance with company policies and Oregon employment laws.

As an HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. Additional Compensation Details:
- Potential 90-day performance-based raise
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions about benefits, policies, timekeeping, and career opportunities.
- Manage personnel files, update HRIS records, and assist with compliance/reporting.
- Lead division recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and managing onboarding.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs, including anniversaries, service awards, and division newsletters.
- Support hiring managers in navigating the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, record retention requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate OSHA and workers' compensation records, assisting with claims processing.
- Assist with employee communication boards and HR-related projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience: At least three (3) years in human resources, including recruitment experience.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with Oregon employment laws, leave laws, and HR best practices.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in navigating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and standard office software. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and SmartRecruiters a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Great Communicator: Able to provide clear, professional, and supportive communication to employees and managers.
- Confidential & Professional: Understand the sensitive nature of HR work and maintain a high level of discretion.
