Job Title: Behavioral Aide
Facility: Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center
Location: Port Charlotte, Florida
Shift: Full-Time | 8 AM – 4 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Description:
Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center is seeking a dedicated Courtyard Monitor to ensure the safety, comfort, and engagement of our residents while they enjoy the facility's outdoor courtyard. This role is vital in promoting a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the facility's outdoor courtyard to ensure residents' safety and well-being.

• Coordinate and lead engaging activities for residents to enjoy while utilizing the courtyard.

• Supervise the resident smoking process, including distributing smoking paraphernalia, promoting safe smoking practices, and ensuring proper disposal of cigarette butts.

• Ensure residents remain hydrated and nourished while spending time outdoors.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a caregiving, security, or similar role preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lead group activities and foster resident engagement.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.
