Field Trip Educator / Independent Contractor
Part-Time - Flexible Schedule - $15 per hour

Reports to: Education Coordinator
Availability: As needed Mon-Fri / flexible schedule / School Year (October-May)
Job Goal: To enthusiastically lead field trips for the 2nd and 4th-grade Environmental Education Program in Charlotte County.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct various field trip programs including guided hikes, wading trips, and boat cruises.
- Able to Commute to both Englewood and Punta Gorda to Lead Field Trips.
- Educate about the Charlotte County watershed and water quality, native plants and animals, and the importance of preserving and protecting our environment.
- Provide an educational and memorable experience for students.
- Transport materials needed for the trips such as dip nets and educational specimens.
- Distribute and collect materials from teachers associated with the trips.
- Work harmoniously with the Education Coordinator and co-educators to create schedules and discuss new concepts.
Training and all materials needed are provided.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Hiring multiple candidates for the upcoming season.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
