Summary
Under general direction of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Quality Analyst will be responsible for all aspects quality assurance for District warehouses. The position is also responsible for documenting and updating standard operating procedures to improve inventory quality.

Under general direction of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Quality Analyst will be responsible for all aspects quality assurance for District warehouses. Conducts statistical test, researches, compiles and analyzes data to ensure quality measures meet District requirements. The position is also responsible for documenting and updating standard operating procedures to improve inventory quality.
Essential Duties
- Document and update all departmental standard operating procedures to improve inventory quality, job performance and to ensure compliance with established programs.
- Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, including order accuracy, receipt/ issuance compliance and employee training.
- Ensures integrity of all inventory related information associated with warehouse stocked items.
- Conducts statistical relevant sample tests on daily stock counts to ensure the number of items received has been properly recorded; Analyzes test results, assess the effectiveness and accuracy of the inventory system, and develops recommendations to resolve errors and improve the accuracy of item counts.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Supervisors to ensure warehouse operations personnel are properly and accurately storing inventory in the appropriate sections of the warehouse.
- Analyzes trends indicated by survey results and determines actions necessary to increase the reliability of the inventory systems.
- Coordinates inventory quality control inspections.
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes data, develops plans and actions and coordinates actions with the appropriate staff; Maintains historical files of discrepancies in such a manner that previous problems can be retrieved complied, organized and analyzed to determine trends.
- Prepares, reviews, and analyzes reports used to detect and resolve various warehouse and distribution problems.
- Work with Warehouse personnel to identify, research and resolves inventory discrepancies regarding over shipments, under-shipments to schools/departments.
- Participates in special projects and continuous improvements initiatives as needed. Prepares and communicates information for the use in preparation of weekly or monthly reports to management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum
- Associates degree in Business or related field or high school diploma/GED and seven years of experience
- Five (5) years of progressive warehouse and or inventory control experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with a minimum of (5) years of relative experience
